Best Boost Mobile Unlimited Data Plans
Boost Mobile has two different versions of its unlimited plan. The main differences are the higher price and larger mobile hotspot limit on the one version. Boost recently added a perk, the $60/month Unlimited PLUS plan. This includes free K Health advice and health care. Other Boost customers may also be eligible for this perk at $7.99 per mois. You can still get unlimited plans from Boost for only one phone, but the family plan offers more value. A $50 monthly fee will cover your first unlimited data connection. Each subsequent one will be only $30 a year (or $40 per additional Unlimited Plus line). Unlimited data costs $140 per month to a family of 4. Boost will also offer a $10 per-month discount for your personal phone if you add it to their plan. Boost 50 dollars a month gets you unlimited text and calls as well 35GB LTE data. (Boost throttles down speeds to 2G for any usage that exceeds the cap. Boost offers a 12GB hotspot on mobile devices with this plan. For an extra $10 a month, you can upgrade to a plan with 30GB of hotspot data. Add additional lines at $30 per month (or $40 if your preference is hotspot data)
Mix and match plans from Boost
Boost’s Mix and Match Plans are available for those who don’t need unlimited data. Boosts offers five such options in total, and as the name implies, you can have a family plan mixing the different plans.
Although these plans are also available as prepaid plans, they can be expensive. You can receive five data lines for $50 using the mix-and match offer. This is an excellent deal.
Prepaid plan The plan will only cost $10 per month and you’ll be limited at 1GB. This will obviously be quite limiting for a lot of people but if you just use your phone for the occasional internet search and emails, or you want a plan for your child, this can be a cheap alternative. For another $5 a month, you can add an extra 1GB of data.
Pros; Affordable. This plan is suitable for many people, and allows you to stream light content, use social media, and much more. Plus, like all of Boost’s plans, you get mobile hotspot data. But like the above plan, this is only for new customers signing up to Boost.
Prepaid Plan Even better, this plan includes 5G coverage (Boost offers 5G service in select cities at the moment), and it’s available to both new and existing customers.
$45/month, then $35/month after 6 on time payments $15GB of data is available for $45 per month. You can reduce your monthly bills to 35 dollars a month if you make six regular payments. This is the same as the $10GB plan. This is a great deal, but you must be committed to Boost.
Is Boost a Good Carrier?
(Image credit Marko Geber). Boost Mobile is included in our Top 10 List of Best Phone Carriers. Of course, it isn’t going to compare to the likes of Verizon or AT&T when it comes to coverage, speeds, or included perks. Boost is affordable, but it does offer a lot to budget-minded customers.
There are no service agreements on any of the top Boost Mobile plans. Boost also covers taxes and fees. With tiered data plans, you can also make unlimited calls and send texts. Boost offers a rewards program called Boost Perks. This includes competitions and discounts in shops and restaurants, as well as exclusive perks.
As for coverage, Boost uses the T-Mobile network. That means leading 5G coverage (at least in select cities) great speeds and 4G coverage spanning the entirety of the US.
Boost, however, can experience slow speeds if T-Mobile’s network is congested. However, this is a common practice among MVNOs. Boost is not available to all customers. This is another reason you should consider Boost.
K Health
You can also add a final option that makes it easy to contact a doctor. K Health serves as your telehealth gateway 24/7 to get you affordable answers regarding your health. You will need to first download K Health and then wait for activation via Boost.
Which plan does Boost Mobile offer?
It is difficult to suggest a Boost Mobile plan that will work for everyone. It’s better to weigh your options against our list. An unlimited option is best if you intend to access mountains of data from wherever you may be.
Shrink It! is gone! According to the Shrink IT! program, 10GB of limited data is recommended if data storage is not an option. With unlimited talk and texts, it costs just $35 per Month. The data plan you use for hotspots will dictate the extent of your unlimited plan. Unlimited Plus offers much more streaming and better quality for only $10 per month.
What’s the Deal?
Boost Mobile Boost Mobile, which was founded in 2002 by Sprint, was purchased in 2006 by Sprint. The company offered services on Sprint’s CDMA network, and served as Sprint Prepaid. Boost Mobile, which was part of the Sprint-T-Mobile merger, was bought by Dish Network on July 1, 2020. BoostMobile can also offer T-Mobile plan plans through this merger. BoostMobile refers the T-Mobile network to as their Extended Network. Existing customers and new customers alike can move to Extended Network. All they have to do is visit a Boost Mobile Store and get a SIM card compatible for their smartphone.
Boost Mobile plans previously focused on unlimited data plans and family discounts on Sprint’s network. Boost Mobile has shifted its focus since Dish acquired them. Now they offer a wider range of prepaid plans at a more reasonable price. Boost Mobile offers a low cost option starting at $10 per monthly for 1GB LTE Data. This represents a considerable drop in price from their previous lowest priced option which was $35 per Month. Boost Mobile’s brand new $hrinkIt! Plan customers that make regular payments will receive a discount of up to $10. This is in addition to the fact that the plan reduces the price by upto $10 for six timely payments.
BoostMobile currently offers the following plans:
New customers in-store only: $10 per 1GB, $15 for 2GB and $25 for 5GB. Online activation is available for new customers. $35 for 10GB. $45 $hrinkIt! $75 for 10GB $45 $hrinkIt plan. Customers who were unable or unwilling to unlock their phones in order to activate them under Boost Mobile’s plan had difficulty activating them because of Boost Mobile’s very restrictive BYOD program. However, now that Boost Mobile is able to provide service on the T-Mobile network, it should be possible to activate almost any T-Mobile compatible smartphone with Boost Mobile.
If you purchase your smartphone directly through Boost Mobile they will often have great discounts on low-cost smartphones. We recommend that you use your own unlockable device in order to get the best experience with Boost Mobile. Unlocked phones aren’t tied down to any contract or carrier. You can switch carriers or plans at will with an unlocked handset.
Boost Mobile Family Plans
Boost provides discounts for lines added, however there are also cheaper family plans.
Bundling multiple bills together can help to reduce costs and save you the time of dealing with many creditors.

Recap Is Boost Mobile Any Good?
Boost Mobile’s prepaid services are not the most popular. The BYOD option is very limited, and it’s actual service isn’t great. We do appreciate that Boost Mobile offers unlimited streaming music on some platforms and the customer service is easy to access. The plan is perfect for those who love music and want something easy.
Plans: Boost Mobile will not reduce your data usage or add overages to your account. We generally recommend Boost’s 3 GB plan over its unlimited options, unless you want a lot of hotspot data.
Performance: Boost Mobile relies on Sprint’s network which can be slow at times. But Sprint does work pretty well in some areas, so just make sure your area is one of them before you sign on.
Customer service. We had great experiences with Boost Mobile’s support staff. You can reach them by using live chat, social media or email for the fastest and most immediate response.

Overage data will result in a slowdown to “2G speeds”, with high-speed data for sale at $5 per gigabyte. T-Mobile will provide the network for all new customers while Dish develops its service. T-Mobile and Sprint had previously acquired Boost Mobile, while Dish built its own service. The deal was made through a Department of Justice-brokered deal.
Boost Mobile’s new plans will provide 5G access with 5G support, as long your device supports 5G. Apple’s new iPad. Apple’s new i. Phone 12 and 12 pro, both supporting 5G, arrive at the carrier Friday.
The new plans come nearly a month after Dish appointed Stephen Stokols to head Boost Mobile as its new executive vice president . Stokols says, “Let’s begin to segment the market so people can get plans that suit them.” The ultimate objective is to increase the value of the wireless market. This is the very first effort to achieve that goal with these new plans.
Stokols states that plans for more moves are in store before the end, and later adds that this is only the first small move, with much larger ones to follow “before” the holidays.
