The Shark doesn’t snowplow large debris and is excellent at pulling up dirt and debris from along wall edges. You can easily reach the filter by flipping on its lid. Also, you can empty it quickly from the trash container. You can reach it across the room, or even the hallway with the 30-foot extension.
Although it doesn’t have a HEPA filter, the Shark performed on par with the Dyson in terms of emissions (and the Dyson is priced three times higher). After vacuuming, it reduced both the small and large particles in the area. It pulled up sand and fine debris in large amounts, impressing us with how clean the floor looked after vacuuming with the Shark.
Shark’s maneuverability and strength made it stand apart from other finalists. It can glide smoothly on carpet and maneuvers well around furniture edges and wall edges.
You can use the motorized brush roller to move dirt off carpets. While the Hard Floor Hero Head picks up any dirt or surface food, dirt, and stick-on foods. The switch allows you to change the height or replace the head.
