Amazon will not accept Care Credit payment as an acceptable form of payment. Amazon will accept SNAP-EBT payment as a method of payment to pay for essential groceries and vitamins at Whole Foods or Amazon Fresh stores. Care Credit cardholders are also able to use their cards at Walgreens, Walmart and other similar shops.
Amazon Doesn’t Accept Care Credit
Amazon currently doesn’t have an official reason for not accepting Care Credit as a form of payment.
However, Amazon isn’t able to offer sufficient Care Credit products that justify using the card.
Care Credit Cardholders are restricted from purchasing items not necessary for their own health and well being, such as medication, hygiene products, baby formula or over-the counter medications.
Therefore, because Amazon.com only carries select health products, they may not consider the Care Credit card an essential payment method for their website.
Amazon Similar to Care Credit – What Can I Pay?
Amazon has not yet made the Care Credit card available as an option for payment, but they offer SNAP in Whole Foods and Amazon Fresh stores across the country.
It can be used to pay for basic items. The SNAP EBT payment option can only be used to buy essential foods, while the Care Credit card can be used to purchase vitamins or over-the-counter medication.
Customers who need medication, paraphernalia for babies, or hygiene products are advised to visit stores as well as websites that accept Care Credit cards.
What are the alternatives to a Care credit card?
While cardholders cannot use Care Credit on Amazon.com,there are many retail stores that accept the card as a valid payment method. The following stores accept Care Credit:
