Most grocery and retail stores provide many benefits and perks, including employee discounts, holidays pay, and medical benefits.
Safeway offers a 10% discount for employees on all store brands and a 5% discount on all other brands starting in 2022. To be eligible for the employee discount, Safeway employees must have completed their probation and hold an AirMiles Card to swipe at cash registers.
What do Safeway Employees need to use the Discount?
Two things are required for employees of Safeway to be eligible in order to receive their discount.
To qualify for the discount, staff members must have completed their probation period. For Safeway, their probation period is 3 months long.
Safeway employees will also have to obtain an Air Miles certificate after their probation.
You can use this card as a coupon card and then swipe it at the cash register if you wish to make use of your discount.
