This definition is quite broad and allows employees to be granted bereavement time for loss of loved ones or close relatives. At the manager’s option, bereavement can also be granted to other people’s deaths.

Walmart employees are entitled to bereavement leaves of up to 30 days.

Walmart offers standard bereavement leaves of up to three days. It is decided by an employee’s supervisor.

Additionally, the supervisor can consider several factors to determine the grant of leave.
